The Most Holy Rosary

Updated: Oct 26, 2020

The devotion of the rosary is a perfect prayer because it contains the story of our salvation. Praying the rosary includes meditating on the mysteries of the GLORY, JOY, and SORROW of Jesus and Mary. Our Blessed Mother revealed this devotion to Saint Dominic. He preached it everywhere until it was embraced by Catholics all over the world. Many souls have been delivered from sin, converted to a holy life, and have and have died a good death and now saved by praying the rosary.

A plenary indulgence can be gained while reciting the rosary in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament, either exposed or in the tabernacle, provided one receives the sacrament of Confession and the sacrament of the Holy Eucharist.

At every apparition our Blessed Mother invited us to pray the rosary as a weapon against the evil, and bring us true peace.

The rosary said devoutly while kneeling before an image of our Blessed Mother is most preferable and pleasing to our Mother Mary. It is important to ask for a special grace before each decade and make an act of love to Jesus and Mary.

Deciding to say the rosary daily is a good habit. This will bring us closer to God and we will appreciate How Much He Loved Us by dying on the cross and continues to Love us everyday.

St. Louis de Montfort wrote " The rosary is the most powerful weapon to touch the heart of Jesus, Our Redeemer, who so loves His Mother."
