ANNOUNCEMENT: Public Mass delayed until May 23rd.

Unfortunately, the date for the First Public Mass will be delayed until May 23. I know this is disappointing news: I was really looking forward to getting back in the swing of things myself. But if we have gained anything in the virtue of patience over these two long months, we will need to wait just one more week.

We have received quite a few questions regarding any changes to the public Masses. We will send out those changes via the blog and announced over the livestream as soon as we have all the details. Please stay tuned. If you know of any parishioner who does not have internet access or has not yet subscribed to the blog, please let them know.

To be clear: although public Masses will resume, the obligation to attend Sunday Mass is still suspended. We will make sure to let you know when the obligation takes effect.

In the meantime, we have need for volunteers to help during "Phase 1." Since a number of parishioners will not be able to return right away given the circumstances, please consider volunteering if you are able:

CHURCH CLEANING AND SANITIZING: We will need a bunch of volunteers to help sanitize the Church and keep people healthy. We will need the most volunteers to help sanitize between Masses on Sunday. Please sign up HERE. We will place these volunteers under the patronage of St. Bernadette Soubirous to whom Our Blessed Mother appeared in Lourdes.

PORTER: We will still need volunteers to watch the door outside of Mass times. Since these are hour slots, it is an excellent way to commit to a Holy Hour at the Church. Please sign up HERE. We will place these volunteers under the patronage of St. André Bessette, the Porter of Montreal.

USHER: Even if you are one of the usual ushers, please sign this form to let us know you are able to come. Sign up HERE. We will place our ushers under the patronage of St. Joseph, the foster father of Our Lord Himself.

ERRANDS FOR ELDERLY: These are tough times, especially for those not able to leave their houses to get basic necessities. If you would like to help, please sign up HERE. We will place these volunteers under the patronage of St. Jerome Emiliani.

A hearty thank you to all those who have already volunteered countless hours during this quarantine and another thank you to those who are volunteering today.

Keep the Faith!

...We will see you soon.
