Our Faith teaches us that Christ is truly present Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity in the Blessed Sacrament. Our eyes cannot see anything different after the consecration, but we know with the eyes of Faith that Our Lord is present. Transubstantiation is the complete change from the substance of bread and wine into the Substance of the Body and Blood of the Lord. While the substance is change, the accidents (what we can see, smell, taste, and touch) remain the same.
